12 already!

Seems like only yesterday when mom brought you home. Weighing only 2 kgs,you seemed to be unbelievably tiny. Our grandfather predicted you would hardly survive and live through the low weight and the infections you kept getting every other day. Had he been around today he would have been so proud to see the robust, darling little thing you have grown to be. When once you could easily fit into a doll's cradle, now you are taller than your eldest sister Mashallah!

Happy Birthday Sweetheart our dearest Amal!!

It's a wonder how much you have grown over a span of last few years, from a tiny pixie to our young little princess. Now that I think about it, our lives must have been so dull and boring before you because we didn't have a cute little doll of a clown to return home to. Your silly little antics continue to amuse us to this day.

We all love to boss you around but you always surprise me with patience and generosity you bear it all with. I for one who used to despise puking, pooping, whiny little babies, found myself rushing to your side each morning to disturb you from peaceful slumber and endured with patience all the stinky little packages you had to offer when mom was away.

I wish I could get back the years when I was away just to watch you grow and experience all the precious little moments I've missed. You are growing to be a beautiful human being, so generous and kind hearted. No matter how old and big you grow, you will always be my baby sister the dearest of all!
